The MCS Media Lab is a distinctive space for the creation of multimodal research and media production. The Lab houses a suite of computer editing stations, a soundproof booth for audio recording, a scanner, and mobile digital production equipment that can be checked out by students.

The MCS Podcast Studio is a project space for exploring podcast production. The studio is equipped with a meeting table and semi-fixed four-microphone setup, professional mixer, computer, and portable green screen and lighting.

The MCS Live-streaming and Virtual Reality Lab enables the study of video game studies, live-video politics, online research methods, and virtual reality studies within applied live-streaming and VR environments. The Lab houses equipment including a collection of virtual reality headsets, three live virtual reality experimentation stages and three high-performance PCs calibrated to deliver content and to generate user data for analysis.
